Design your own fabric workshop, hosted by in house textile designer Mirjamauno.
This Sunday afternoon workshop enables you to understand how pattern repeats work and to put this knowledge directly into practice.
Hanna will guide you through the process of designing your own repeating motif using materials provided. You will also receive plenty of visual references in order to stimulate your creativity. It is up to you if you desire to paint by hand or work digitally. At the end of the course, you will be provided with a promo code for a local digital textile printer where you can print your wonderful creations for free!
Mirjamauno was founded by Finnish/English designer Hanna Mason and strives to create fun and lovingly designed high quality textiles that enhance your day to day living. Mirja Mauno is inspired by the ever changing and bewitching Finnish landscape, folk art, Scandinavian design, national costume and joy. The name is taken from Hanna’s Finnish grandparents who always have been and continue to be a source of inspiration for Hanna. All Mirjamauno textiles are locally and ethically produced in the Neukölln district of Berlin, a stone throw from Hanna’s shop and atelier.
Workshop time: Sundays 2-5 pm (Please email for availability and dates)
