A new vision for occasion wear

Studio Hertzberg is evolving. And the idea for our new direction was born from a very personal experience.

Before a wedding, I found myself facing the same question: What should I wear? I was looking for a dress that felt special—but at the same time, I had this thought: What if someone else at the wedding is wearing the exact same dress?
In conversations with friends, I realized that this actually happens quite often. Usually, it turned into a funny story—but if they had been given the choice, they would have much preferred to wear a dress that they wouldn't see on anyone else that day.

Especially for a special occasion, you want to wear something that feels a little bit like it was made just for you.

This thought is where the new vision for Studio Hertzberg began.

Starting in 2027, we will focus entirely on occasion wear made from unique deadstock fabrics. For this, I am sourcing selected remnants, including those from Italian fashion houses and fabric manufacturers. Many of them are only available in small quantities.

The fabric determines the size of each edition. Once it is used up, the edition ends.

This results in dresses for weddings, dinners, celebrations, and all those days when you want to dress up—with clean silhouettes, feminine shapes, and no unnecessary fuss.

We are therefore gradually saying goodbye to our previous collection in our sale. While the final pieces find their new homes, the new Studio Hertzberg is already taking shape.
