ROBUST & VERSATILE
Organic cotton
Organic cotton is a versatile natural fiber suitable for a wide range of garments – from blouses and dresses to trousers or knitwear. It is characterized by its pleasant feel, durability, and breathability. Click here for washing instructions.
A few facts about organic cotton:
- comes from controlled organic cultivation.
- synthetic pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are not permitted in cultivation.
- crop rotation and other organic farming methods help to maintain soil fertility in the long term.
- depending on the growing region, part of the water requirement is covered by rainfall.
Alternative to Silk
Lyocell / Tencel™
Lyocell/Tencel™ is a silky, flowing fabric that can also be used knitted as jersey or without a silky effect, for example for a denim look. We love Lyocell/Tencel™. And if you want to know how to best care for your Tencel clothing, then you can find the washing instructions here.
A few facts about our Lyocell/Tencel™:
- Lyocell is made from cellulose, which mainly comes from wood (e.g., eucalyptus, beech, or spruce).
- Pleasantly soft on the skin
- Tencel™ is a registered trademark of Lenzing AG for lyocell and modal fibers.
- According to Lenzing, more than 99.8% of the solvent used in the manufacturing process is recovered and reused.
VEGAN SILK
CUPRO - Bemberg
Bemberg™ Cupro from the Japanese company Asahi Kasei is a high-quality regenerated fiber made from cotton linters – the fine fibers left over from cotton processing. The material is characterized by a silky-soft feel, elegant drape, and comfortable wear. It feels smooth and cool on the skin and is often referred to as "copper silk" due to its appearance and feel. - is made from cotton linters, a byproduct of cotton processing.
- is produced by Asahi Kasei in Japan.
- consists of regenerated cellulose and is similar in composition to viscose.
